The Mammoth Lakes Foundation is very active in the Eastern Sierra supporting it's mission of cultural enrichment and education. In 2008, we're happy to announce a full schedule of events and programs that you, as a foundation supporter help make possible.

The Mammoth Lakes Foundation supports a number of community programs hosted by the Chamber Music Unbound that directly benefits both locals and visitors. These include the Winter Chamber Music Concert Series, Kids Concerts for local elementary, middle and High Schools, Music School Programs for Youth, the Sierra del Este Piano Seminar and the very popular Mammoth Lakes Music Festival.

The Mammoth Ski Museum is the home of the Beekley International Collection of Skiing Art and Literature. We invite you to explore one of the largest single collections of skiing art, literature and heritage in the world - here in Mammoth Lakes.

Five-hundred years of the sport and culture are captured in our collection and research library. This includes vintage posters, original paintings, photography, sculpture and literature by artisits and authors such as Ansel Adams, Andrew Wyeth, Eric Sloane, Leroy Neiman, Lill Tschudi, Hannes Schneider, Sir Arnold Lunn and Warren Miller.



Our seasonal exhibitions, year-round public programs and educational activities introduce the many expressions of "The Fine Art of Skiing" to you. Pursue skiings history in our reserach library and interact with the sports legends and artisits in the Pioneer Theater / Gallery. New to the museum is a one of kind exhibit of Dave McCoy’s own photos in a 50 year retrospective.
