Position Announcement: Office Manager
Mammoth Lakes Foundation is seeking is an Office Manager to support the mission of the organization. The Office Manager is the initial point of contact for communications into or out of the Mammoth Lakes Foundation, with primary responsibility for guest services and general support of the MLF Directors.
The Office Manager is responsible for the scholarship program and will work with prospective and current students to support their academic goals at Cerro Coso Community College. The position also assists in tracking program alumni.
The Office Manager is responsible for cash handling, including processing deposits and credit cards for all events, retail sales, and other activities.
The Office Manager supports a variety of programs, activities, and events such as the Mammoth Lakes Film Festival, the Mammoth Food & Wine Experience, the Mammoth Lakes Repertory Theatre, and the Friends of the Foundation Celebration.
The Office Manager is responsible for assisting the Directors with the scheduling of the facilities.
The Office Manager is responsible for donor data entry, generating donor reports, supporting donor inquiries, creating thank you letters and receipts, and supporting a variety of development campaigns.
The Office Manager is responsible for supporting the Board of Directors, including preparing and distributing meeting agendas
The position is crucial to the Mammoth Lakes Foundation and a pleasant, helpful, and inquisitive-minded attitude is essential for success. The Office Manager must employ discretion and independent judgement in carrying out tasks and the performance of their duties.
The Office Manager is a full-time, hourly position consisting of a 40-hour work week. Starting pay is $15 per hour. The Mammoth Lakes Foundation offers paid time off, holiday pay, and up to 50% of a medical plan for the employee only.
